So, I had a fantastic weekend at the beach with some friends (old and new). Unfortunately, when I got back to my bike which I locked up at the Metro station I found out I had become the victim of a thief. My bike was there (though someone obviously tried pretty hard to get the lock off) but my odometer/speedometer, bike pump, and headlight were all stolen.
This should annoy me but I am actually pretty indifferent about it. These things can easily be replaced (and pretty cheaply)… it just doesn’t seem worth it to get upset. In fact, I even chuckle a little knowing the odometer/speedometer is worthless without the magnetic sensor which is still on my bike.
Oh well, such is life. I can’t wait to see what this week has in store for me.
