“Like” Whore

I recently was told that I am a Facebook “Like Whore”… I guess this person was saying that I am too lenient with what I Like on Facebook. Maybe they think I should be more discerning or selective about what posts I appreciate. I disagree.

I very much like everything that I “Like”. If someone has something going on in their life that makes them happy, they post music that I enjoy, someone is celebrating an accomplishment, or they post something insightful I am going to like it. This may mean that I like hundreds of things a day. I don’t think this takes away from the value of my likes, I think it just represents my desire to show my appreciation and genuinely celebrate other’s happiness.
