Moving Forward

Well, I’ve been in LA for about a week now and it has been a whirlwind. I don’t know why I expected some downtime… my past experiences here should have been a sign that my life would continue to move quickly. I have a job already that I start tomorrow (in addition to the part time work I still do for SFL), I have Burning Man in a few weeks, and I need to buy clothes and find an apartment. Not to mention work on my book.

It looks like the next year or so is going to be a busy sort of awesome excitement that keeps me moving. I’ll probably work hard and often, and play when I can. I want to focus on getting some bills paid off and mentally prep myself for grad school. It looks like my job has a lot of opportunity for longeviety but I’m still keeping my options open.

Really, I’m just going to need to keep focused and use my time wisely. Balancing two jobs (and an occasional third) with writing a book, having fun in a new city, and enjoying life could quickly get out of control and burning me out. Oh well, I’m excited and looking forward to it. I’ve basically had a week off so I start up exercise, writing, and working tomorrow. Very exciting.
